    2. Yegg decides to start off by casting ''seahorse song'' on himself.

      Delete
    3. As Yegg moves his fins like that of a conductor, he summons a parade of seahorses that swim around him and blow bubbles, forming a whirlpool of bubbles. As the seahorses disappear, Yegg feels his grip on his cutlass grow stronger, his attack raising rather strongly. When Yegg's guard disappears, Jorguss rushes in and slams his trident against Yegg's stomach, knocking him backwards.

The effects of Seahorse Song will wear off in 8 turns.

    2. Astoria murmured an incantation and aimed directly at Cypress. She waited for the spell to hit and swerved around towards the back of her opponent.

      Delete
    3. The spell shot forward but the soldier deflected it with his trident. He whipped around to face Astoria and brought his trident down, only to have it narrowly miss the mystic and crash into the sand.

      Delete
    4. In an attempt to knock the trident out of Cypress' fin, Astoria aimed a spell at Cypress' fin just as the trident crashed into the sand.

      Delete
    5. The spell hit the soldier's trident and it was flung backwards into one of the logs rimming the arena. He swam over and grabbed onto it, struggling to pull it out of the wood,

      Delete
    6. Astoria muttered an incantation and aimed a spell at Cypress' belly in an attempt to blast him away from the trident.

      Delete
    7. The spell shot forward but just hit the log and helped jimmy the trident out of the log. With a heave, Cypress yanked the trident out of the wood and jabbed it at Astoria, stabbing her fin.

      Delete
    8. "It's just the fin," Astoria thought. Swallowing the pain, Astoria did a loop-de-loop, getting under Cypress, and jamming her wand right at the underside of Cypress' fin.

      Delete
    9. The dolphin swam and got underneath her opponent and jabbed the wooden end of the staff into his stomach. He exhaled sharply and was knocked aside. He whipped around wildly and brought his trident down on Astoria's back in a strike of vengeance, then swung it back up and shoved her backwards with the butt of it.

      Delete
    10. Astoria was flung backeards by the impact of the trident, but quickly, she got back up again and attempted to fire multiple spells at the soldier, hoping that at least one would hit.

      Delete
    11. In a frenzy, Astoria whipped her staff around wildly and shot a volley of spells towards the soldier. Many of them hit the sand, but quite a few slapped the soldier in the face and he was blown backwards, slamming against a rock on the battlefield in a critical hit. He struggled to get up but seemed stunned.

      Delete
    12. Astoria aimed a spell at Cypress' fin again, attempting to knock it out of his fin again.

      Delete
    13. She charged up and slammed her staff down on the ground, but it fizzled out. It wasn't too much of a setback though, as Cypress was just getting up and preparing to turn around.

      Delete
    14. "Not to worry Astoria," she thought to herself. Seeing that Cypress was trying to turn around, she fired a spell at his tail to offset his balance.

      Delete
    15. She raised her wand and a spell shot forward, but it just hit the armour on his back. He struggled upwards and grabbed his trident, then threw it like a spear towards Astoria, knocking her backwards.

      Delete
    16. Feeling the impact of the trident hitting her, Astoria was carried by the momentum of the trident and hit the wall (if any) on the opposite side. Recovering a little, she aimed 3 spells at the now tridentless (right?) Cypress, one at the head, one at the belly and one at the tail.

      Delete
    17. Astoria once again whipped around and shot her wand wildly. Two of the three spells hit, but the one that did was at his tail. He recoiled in pain and swam around in a circle around the arena, trying to stay away from Astoria.

      Delete
    18. Seeing, Cypress hesitate, she shot downwards to the bottom of the arena and picked up his trident. Aiming carefully, she shot a spell at the spot where Cypress would swim to next, hoping that it would collide with him.

      Delete
    19. The spell narrowly missed as Cypress swerved to the right and appeared suddenly behind Astoria. He swiftly grabbed the trident, whipped it around and shoved her forward with the butt of it.

      Delete
    20. "Darn," Astoria muttered, feeling irritated. She followed through with the motion by doing a loop-de-loop and shot a spell at cypress from under him.

      Delete
    21. The spell shot upward and bounced Cypress upward. He swam around and swung his trident forward, slamming it into Astoria's side.

      Delete
    22. Astoria did a corkscrew turn, and waved her wand in a pendulum-like manner, casting Lullaby on Cypress.

      Delete
    23. The dolphin's eyelids began to droop and his movement began to slow. Gripping his trident, he smacked Astoria aside with it once more.

Cypress has been inflicted with drowsiness. He will fall asleep in 2 turns if the status ailment is not cured.

      Delete
    24. Reeling from the impact, Astoria realised that it would be wiser to swim away and play it defensive for now. She swam to ths opposite end of the arena and jammed her helmet on her head.

      Delete
    25. Astoria swam away and ducked behind a rock. She took out her reinforced helmet and put it on her head. She peeked out from behind the rock to see Cypress mulling about, his movement clearly slowing.

You have equipped Reinforced Helmet. It will remain equipped during any other roleplay you do unless you unequip it or replace it with a new piece of armour.

Cypress has been inflicted with drowsiness. He will fall asleep in 1 turn if the status ailment is not cured.

Lullaby can be used again in 8 turns.

      Delete
    26. Astoria took the moment to scan her surroundings. What could she do when Cypress falls asleep? (She is one who uses the enviorment she is in to her advantage).

((Is the floor of the arena sand or concrete or rock?))

      Delete
    27. (It's sand. There are random obstructions like rocks, poles, and the logs making up the arena walls)

Looking around, she backed off and prepared her wand to attack. Suddenly, Cypress collapsed in the sand and lulled over.

Cypress has fallen asleep. He will remain asleep for 2 turns if the status ailment is not cured.

Lullaby can be used again in 7 turns.

      Delete
    28. Astoria quietly edged Cypress' trident out of his fin. She swam to another part of the arena and buried the trident there. After levelling the sand at the spot where she buried the trident, she swam back towards Cypress, charging up for a big spell.

      Delete
    29. Patting the sand down, Astoria quickly rushed back and raised her wand up. The charging was slow and she could feel the staff getting heavier as her eyes fixed onto Cypress, praying he didn't wake up.

Cypress has fallen asleep. He will remain asleep for 1 turn if the status ailment is not cured.

Lullaby can be used again in 6 turns.

      Delete
    30. "Now!" Astoria instinctively yelled, as she fired the spell directly at Cypress' back. Immediately, she charged up again.

      Delete
    31. The spell slammed into Cypress' back and sent him flying. As he tumbled away, Astoria could see the sleeping spell begin to lose its grip. She charged up another spell to hopefully get one last surge out.

Cypress has fallen asleep. He will wake up in 1 turn if the status ailment is not cured.

Lullaby can be used again in 5 turns.

      Delete
    32. Astoria swam upwards and fired a spell at Cypress, intending to blast him at the nearby rocks.

      Delete
    33. The spell fired downwards and blew up right in Cypress' face as he blew up. He skidded across the sand, but did not wake up. Suddenly, there was a loud whistle.
"The battle is over, folks!" The ringmaster yelled as the audience cheered. "Cypress Venus is defeated, and the match goes to Astoria Venus!"

    2. Astoria slowly circled the arena while charging up her wand.

      Delete
    3. Jorguss raised his bat and began to slowly approach the dolphin.

      Delete
    4. Astoria swiftly dived downward and fired the spell at Jorguss from below.

      Delete
    5. Jorguss quickly surged upwards and avoided the spell. He whipped around and brought his bat down, but it narrowly missed Astoria and crashed into the sand.

      Delete
    6. Astoria aimed a spell at the fin that was holding the bat, trying to use the commotion to knock it out.

      Delete
    7. Astoria fired her spell and it just missed Jorguss' fin, instead hitting the handle of the bat. It fell out of his grip and landed in the sand. He crouched to pick it up and rushed towards his attacker, turning it around and jabbing her in the stomach with the handle.

      Delete
    8. Acting on instinct, Astoria slashed her wand around like a whip and fires a poison lash at Jorguss' side.

      Delete
    9. The mystic shot Poison Lash forward and it pierced into the enemy's side. The penguin exhaled sharply and turned around. He brought his bat down on Astoria's tail, dragging her downwards.

Jorguss has been inflicted with poison. He will gradually take damage for 4 turns if the status ailment is not cured.

Poison Lash can be used again in 9 turns.

      Delete
    10. Astoria curled her tail inward, allowing the momentum of Jorguss' motion to carry him downward. She retaliated by firing a spell at his neck.

      Delete
    11. When the penguin was vulnerable and on the ground, Astoria fired a blast towards him. It hit his neck and somehow bounced his upwards. He whipped around and, without hesitation, smacked her soft underside with the larger end of his bat, landing a critical hit as the dolphin fell aside. Astoria felt intimidated and groaned as energy drained from her body. Attack has lowered.

Jorguss has been inflicted with poison. He will gradually take damage for 3 turns if the status ailment is not cured.

Poison Lash can be used again in 8 turns.

The effects of Intimidate will wear off in 4 turns.

    12. Astoria decided that it was time to play defensive to regain some of her energy. She swam upward towards the surface, putting a reasonable distance between herself and Jorguss.

      Delete
    13. The dolphin backed off, her wand gripped tightly in her fins. Breathing heavily, Jorguss heaved his bat out of the sand and popped it up and down with his other fin. He recoiled in pain as the poison stabbed in his chest.

Jorguss has been inflicted with poison. He will gradually take damage for 2 turns if the status ailment is not cured.

Poison Lash can be used again in 7 turns.

The effects of Intimidate will wear off in 3 turns.

      Delete
    14. Astoria kept her eye trained on Jorguss's movements as she continued to circle the arena.

    15. Without warning, the penguin darted forward and turned to the side, colliding with Astoria and bodyslamming her into the logs rimming the arena. He repositioned himself and raised his bat up high.

    16. Astoria released some tension and slid down the logs to dodge Jorgus'attack. She quickly zipped to the other side of the arena, once again putting distance between herself and Jorguss.

      Delete
    17. The penguin brought his bat down, only to have it slam and get lodged into the wall with a loud clang sound. He struggled to pull it out while Astoria continued to back off behind him.

The effects of Poison Lash have worn off.

Poison Lash can be used again in 5 turns.

The effects of Intimidate will wear off in 1 turn.

      Delete
    18. Seeing her chance, Astoria waved her wand in a pendulum-like manner, casting Lullaby on Jorguss.

      Delete
    19. Just as Jorguss triumphantly yanked his weapon out of the logs, he turned and was blasted in the chest with Lullaby. His eyelids becoming visibly heavy and his movement slowing, he used one surge of energy to dash up to Astoria and jab her in the stomach with the end of the bat.

Jorguss has been inflicted with drowsiness. He will fall asleep in 2 turns if the status ailment is not cured.

Poison Lash can be used again in 4 turns.

The effects of Intimidate have worn off.

Lullaby can be used again in 9 turns.

      Delete
    20. With Intimidate wearing off, Astoria felt a surge of energy in her body. She did a quick backflip to swat Jorguss' bat away with her tail, and retaliated by firing a spell at his stomach.

      Delete
    21. The dolphin did a somersault and brought her tailfin down, slamming the bat out of Jorguss' bat away and glancing down to see it erupt with a cloud of sand as it hit the floor. She lifted her wand and fired a spell forward, but Jorguss ducked underneath her. Knowing he lacked the energy to retrieve the bat fast enough, he looked down and headbutted Astoria sideways.

Jorguss has been inflicted with drowsiness. He will fall asleep in 1 turn if the status ailment is not cured.

Poison Lash can be used again in 3 turns.

Lullaby can be used again in 8 turns.

    22. Astoria decided to take the blow. She then used Jorguss' close proximity to fire a barrage of spells straight at him.

      Delete
    23. Springing upwards, Astoria shot a storm of spells onto the penguin's back. It was just in time, too, as the penguin's body peacefully floated down next to his bat as the true effects of Lullaby started to kick in.

Jorguss has fallen asleep. He will remain asleep for 2 turns if the status ailment is not cured.

Poison Lash can be used again in 2 turns.

Lullaby can be used again in 7 turns.

    24. Astoria picked up Jorguss' bat, and proceeded to bury it like how she had buried Cypress' trident. Then, she proceeded to charge up her wand for a massive spell barrage.

      Delete
    25. The mystic planted her wand in the sand to steady it as it practically shook with the charging power. Her eyes remained fixed on the penguin's body, praying he didn't wake up early.

Jorguss has fallen asleep. He will remain asleep for 1 turn if the status ailment is not cured.

Poison Lash can be used again in 1 turn.

Lullaby can be used again in 6 turns.

    26. Hoping that Jorguss would not wake up from this massive attack, she released all the charged up power in her wand straight at Jorguss.

      Delete
    27. The energy released and shot forward, sending the penguin's body flying upwards as he awoke. He whipped around and dove for the lump in the sand where his bat had been buried, kicking downward as he yanked it out and reclaimed his grip.

Lullaby can be used again in 5 turns.

      Delete
    28. This time, Astoria shifted her angle to fire the barrage of spells at his fin, while she slowly swam towards some rocks.

      Delete
    29. As she swiftly moved, the cloud of magic pelted into the penguin and left him stunned on the ground. A critical hit. As Astoria turned, she could see a rising anger in Jorguss' expression as he struggled to rise back up. Attack raised.

The effects of Turn the Tide will wear off in 4 turns.

Lullaby can be used again in 4 turns.

      Delete
    30. "Oh dear, this is bad." Astoria muttered. She figured that the best solution was to stall Jorguss' anger away. She began by firing a mojo blast straight at Jorguss' face.

(Oh,and Astoria would like to equip her magic whirlpearl staff)

      Delete
    31. (Equipped. If you should break it or it gets knocked away from you during roleplay, you can still use the other as a replacement. Or sell it. Up to you.)

She lifted her wand up and shot Mojo Blast at the penguin. It knocked him aside, though he stayed on his feet as he skidded away. Despite that, he looked up but failed to make any movements, stunned.

The effects of Turn the Tide will wear off in 3 turns.

Lullaby can be used again in 3 turns.

Mojo Blast can be used again in 7 turns.

      Delete
    33. Lifting her wand once more, Astoria cast Hoodoo Strike at the opponent. His bat seemed to instantly become heavier in his grip and his posture seemed to slump. Attack and speed lowered. Nonetheless, the penguin darted over to her and slammed her in the side with his bat, stunning her instantly.

    37. The penguin skidded backwards, the spells causing his body to suddenly go limp in the sand. The screech of a whistle blows over the arena.
"The battle is over, folks!" The ringmaster yelled as the audience cheered. "Jorguss Marco is defeated, and the match goes to Astoria Venus!"

    11. Cypress ducked out of the way and the trident was lodged in the sand next to his head. He bucked his head and yanked the trident out in one long motion, gripping onto it and securing his grip, clearly more focused on getting his weapon back than pursuing the mystic.

    2. Battledome match between Astoria and Shadow is now commencing.
"Alright, folks, the battle between SHADOW HUDSON, a blacksmith from the Bottlenose Brigade, and ASTORIA VENUS, a mystic also from the brigade, is about to start. Let's flip the coin to see who move first!"
With the flip of a coin - Shadow gets to move first!
      "Let the battle begin!"

(How this will work is you both must comment before the outcome is shown. Since Shadow gets to move first, he must comment, then Astoria, then the outcome. The actions happen chronologically - what Shadow comments will (theoretically) happen before Astoria's actions if they go through during the outcome. Hope that makes sense).

    3. (This ought to be interesting.)

Shadow took out his Reinforced Helmet and jammed it on his head, then grabbed his harpoon and launched it at Astoria.

      Delete
    4. (Yea,let's see how this goes.)

Astoria swiftly ducked downward and fired a spell at the harpoon, hoping to launch it at the rocks.

      Delete
    5. Shadow quickly fixed the new piece of equipment onto his head and grabbed his weapon. He lifted it up towards his face and aimed it at the approaching dolphin.
Astoria swerved below to try and dodge the attack, but the spear seemed to tunnel downwards and hit her in the tail. She struggled at the impact but fired a shot of energy at the armed otter, knocking his harpoon out of his grip and causing it to land with a cloud of sand.

You have equipped Reinforced Helmet. It will remain equipped during any other roleplay you do unless you unequip it or replace it with a new piece of armour.

      Delete
    6. Shadow quickly darted over to his harpoon and picked it up, remembering that the mystics liked to shoot it out. He dug out his shield and held that in his other paw, and shot his harpoon again.

      Delete
    7. Astoria did a downward backflip and tried to swat the harpoon away with her tail. Then, she dove downwards and swam under Shadow, firing a spell at him as she passed under.

      Delete
    8. The otter hastily picked up his harpoon and held it properly, though only with one paw free, aiming would be difficult. He slung the shield on his other forearm and tried to cover himself. Taking aim, he shot towards the soldier.
Astoria ducked and dodged the spear, which managed to fly in a wildly other direction. In one fluid motion, she dove underneath her foe and shot a spell upwards, though the otter's shield managed to take the hit.

      Delete
    9. Shadow slipped his shield down his arm slightly, thinking perhaps he could free up a paw. He then darted off and bowled a whirlpearl in Astoria's direction.

      Delete
    10. Astoria retaliated by firing a spell at the whirlpearl, hoping to get it to implode before it hit her.

      Delete
    11. Shadow wound up and released a whirlpearl in Astoria's direction, sliding his shield down to give him more space.
The mystic fired a spell at the whirlpearl, but missed as it hit the otter instead. The whirlpearl continued to fly towards her and crashed into her, knocking both of them backwards.

      Delete
    12. Shadow quickly swam up and darted over to Astoria and stabbed his harpoon at her.

      Delete
    13. Astoria decided to take the attack, then use Shadow's close proximity to fire a barrage of spells at him, carefully aiming away from his shield.

      Delete
    14. The otter shot forward and flipped his harpoon around, jabbing Astoria with it as it landed square in her chest, but not harshly enough to break any skin.
The mystic took the blow and whipped out her wand and slammed it on the ground, a barrage of spells firing foward. The sheer impact blasted the opposition backwards until he slammed into a rock, stunned.

      Delete
    15. Shadow lay there for a moment, then bolted upwards. He then ran over to a side of the arena, then quickly sat his shield down, launched his harpoon at her, and then picked up his shield again.

      Delete
    16. Astoria once again tried to dodge the blow by darting downwards. This time, however, she tried to swim below Shadow and fire a confuse ray at him.

    17. The otter quickly set his shield down and took a potshot at the approaching dolphin before slinging it back on his arm and picking up his shield once more.
The harpoon shot forward and hit Astoria's tail as she began her descent. She winced in pain and tried to shake it off as she dove around Shadow and fired her wand at him, casting Confuse Ray. The otter shook his head and looked around, feeling slightly more dazed.

Confuse Ray can be used again in 9 turns.

    18. (How does one 'cure' confusion? Just curious.)

Shadow shook his head and looked around. Hmm... He dug around in his satchel and found his anglerfish hiding in there. He told it to go and bite Astoria, then as it sped off he pulled out a whirlpearl and tossed it in the direction of Astoria.

      Delete
    19. Astoria watched the anglerfish, and maneuvred the wooden end of the staff hoping that the timing was right, that the angler would bite down on that. She then pulled out her kunai and prepared to bat the whirlpearl away.

The anglerfish made a strange sound, supposedly in agreement, and darted after the dolphin. Shadow struggled to find a whirlpearl in his satchel, but finally pulled one out, tossing it haphazardly across the battlefield.
Astoria looked on as the toothy creature sped towards her and opened its jaws wide. She put her wand out in front of her, but narrowly missed as the fish clamped down on her tail and refused to let go. She tried to shake it off, preoccupied as the whirlpearl began to move towards her, seemingly in slow motion.

    23. Shadow quickly launched a spear at the dolphin, but the force behind it was not enough and it slowly descended until it hit the sand. He swam back, but in confusion, smacked into a rock and fell to the ground, stunned.
The dolphin turned and angled her tail in the direction of the whirlpearl. Unfortunately, Shadow's anglerfish had other plans and immediately released and turned tail back to its owner when it sensed the shadow looming over it. The whirlpearl exploded below Astoria and blew her aside, stunning her.

    26. Shadow shook his head as the weird sense of apathy left him. He grabbed his harpoon and cocked it, preparing to move back into the fight.
The mystic scrambled up and put distance between the two of them, giving herself time to recover and prepare as she saw the otter prepping his own weapon across the field.

The mystic adjusted her wand and shot a small cloud of magic forward. It managed to slow and slightly tilt the harpoon, but it continued to move. She ducked and swiftly moved aside as it hit the sand beside her.

Astoria grunted as she suddenly swerved to the left to dodge the whirlpearl. Keeping her eye on Shadow, she got ready to retaliate by firing a barrage of spells at close proximity.

    32. The otter batted the whirlpearl up into the air and swerved, weapon at the ready, as he charged foward, preparing to jab her.
Astoria did the same as she turned and dodged the projectile. She raised her wand to fire spells to pelt him back, but the blacksmith's pace was unmatched as he slammed into her and jabbed her side, knocking her back.
