Updates: 20/05/2017

I'm trying to get this poor roleplay out of the gutter, so enjoy some updates.

Update #1

Quest #5 is all done, and I'm starting to work on Quest #6 and the earlier portions of arc 2. Quest #5 will be released as soon as one person completes Quest #4 (and a special surprise along with it), but the only two people currently on Quest #4 are inactive.
I'll even release more teasers for the quests if it will make people actually join and do things.

Update #2

The Item Index has been added. This is a (so far) complete guide of every single item that is currently obtainable in the roleplay. Not much else to say, so enjoy that.

Update #3

Do you want your roleplay to feel like it's happening with real people? Well, look no further because I'm going to be making the narrator for every quest slightly more sarcastic and snarky, because what's a fantastic and suspenseful adventure without a judgemental god watching you and dictating what you do?

Update #4

If you have AJ Amino, a semi-successful AJ Blog or YouTube Channel, I would appreciate it if you would give us some shoutouts or put our advertisement banners on your website. This roleplay is dying and I don't want it to, but it's going to if nobody new joins. I'll even start offering the Beta Tester Starter Pack again if it'll get people to join.

    you should make like an item bank thing were like you put like items in the like bank thing so if you die you can get items from your bank but like once you like put a like item in the like bank you cant use it in like quests until you die or unless you pay a like fine

    You know where Marina went, or did she quit this? Once I finish 4, I don't want to do 5 on my own, so I'd like it if she came back from the dead.

      Beta is active but you'd have to ask her if she's still interested. If she quits I'll probably just put her character up for grabs.

      Beta has been kicked from the roleplay, so there's only really one person active right now. I'd love if someone advertised on AJ Amino or something.

      If you wanted to do something for yourself, you could make an AJ Amino posing as the in-game Bottlenose Brigade, and put roleplay updates on there, and starting off each post with something like 'Hello! Admiral Venicia here." I'm sure you could find SOMEONE who would take interest.

      Perhaps. I despise how Amino is an app, as typing on a phone is possibly the worst thing that can happen in my eyes.

      If you run Amino on Bluestacks, you can play it on a PC.

      Bluestacks doesn't work on my computer properly and I have yet to find another emulator that does, sadly.

    I wouldn't mind joining.

    Also I have a growing amino called AJ Roleplays. We're trying to grow it and make it big at the moment. Maybe if you wanna get your roleplay more popular again, you can join us when you wanna. Well right now our community is small, so maybe it wont get out there that much, but still. It'll be appreciated. :)

    I have a small idea for a future update. Maybe you can create a drop-down list for the main quests as well? From what I see now, the main quests are part of the home page. However, we kinda have to look through all the posts to look for the right quest. So maybe if you could separate the main quests from the other info like updates, it would be more accessible.

    Also, I'm interested in joining the roleplay, but I'm uncomfortable with making my AJ username public. Must I really state my AJ user to join?

      I don't really know what you mean about the main quests. The current 4 available quests are shown and linked on the left side of the blog, so I'm not sure what you mean by a drop-down list.
      Also, yes, you can sign up without specifying your username, if your roleplaying is done on one Google account.

      Oh, I think I see why you're unsure. On mobile, we don't usually see the sides of the blog, because the interface is quite different. I guess mobile users could switch to desktop mode.

      Ah, that makes sense. I don't think there's anything I can do to fix that, as it's just the way that Blogger's mobile formatting works out.

      Not wrong, per say, but poor coding on Blogger's part. When there's a certain number of comments on a page or post (it seems 200 is that number), it cuts off the rest of them. I'll delete the very old quest chains that were finished ages ago to make way for yours.

    Just a thought about character death in the rp: maybe the character can be kept but the character is forced to start from the beginning of that story again? Oh, is level kept when making a new character after the previous one, well, went on?

      That's a good idea but I feel it's not enough of a repercussion that would make people actively avoid dying. Plus, if you lose all your items and them immediately get thrust back into a quest, that wouldn't go too well.
      Also, yes, level is kept after making a new character.

      That doesn't really penalize the character for dying too much though, which is the point of dying. I see where you're coming from though.
      I don't actively try to make them longer, they just usually end up that way as there's more story to put in as they go on.
